If health and happiness are a manifestation of our personal beliefs and perceptions about the world then we accept the idea that healing is essentially self-healing. So how then do we harness our inherent power to overcome the physical and emotional hurdles that life throws at us? Society conditions us to perceive ailments as faults in our biological system or as unexpected misfortunes. This mindset drives us to seek immediate remedies, magic potions, or innovative treatments to alleviate our discomfort. But, what if we began to view our symptoms, not as adversaries, but as guides showing us the areas within our mindsets that require attention and work? We are more than fortunate to have the findings of Dr Ryke Geerd Hamer, who mapped out the Psyche/ Brain/ Body connection through his discovery of The 5 Biological Laws.
1. Trust & Knowledge
The journey to regain control over your health begins with trust. This trust fuels your courage to escape the chains of fear that conventional medicine often imposes. This trust isn't blind; instead, it's rooted in the profound wisdom of your body and the knowledge of nature's laws which guide the process of self-healing. Dr. Hamer was known to say, "The therapy lies in the knowledge". Trust arises from the realisation that nature, including us, is flawless. Knowledge is the result of comprehending and abiding by the immutable biological laws of nature. When armed with trust and knowledge, fear dissipates, linking you to your body's inherent wisdom and the eternal laws of the universe. This means you're no longer a passive victim, attributing health issues to toxins, genes, pathogens, or external influences. Instead, you understand that each symptom tells the story of a distinct conflict shock (DHS) you've experienced and the unique way your psyche has processed it. You trust that these symptoms occur "For" you, not "To" you. This kind of profound responsibility fosters strength in every aspect.
The 5th Biological Law encapsulates this beautifully:
Every so-called disease is part of a Significant Biological Special Program of Nature (SBS) created to ASSIST an organism (humans and animals alike) during unexpected distress.
Understanding and having faith in the 2nd Biological Law, The Law of Two Phases, greatly contributes to trusting the body's inherent healing programs. The moment of a Conflict Shock (DHS) your body reacts by stepping into a Fight or Flight mode and is undergoing tissue adjustments designed to assist your prompt return to safety. Once the Conflict is resolved, your body transitions into a Rest and Repair mode. While healing you experience symptoms like swelling, pain, inflammation, and fatigue in this phase, and while these can be intense and uncomfortable, they are, in fact, reassurance that your body is on the path to recovery.
Absence of knowledge about this natural process can lead to fear, pushing your body back into the Fight or Flight and leading to a hanging healing cycle, this is how we get chronic conditions as the fear never allows us to complete our healing cycle. Understanding the Biological Laws helps demystify chronic illnesses. The secret to breaking free from this cycle is Awareness: understanding your mental and emotional state, the narratives you tell yourself, and how you interpret information from people in your life. Self talk when you are healing like "My Body Knows What it is Doing", "Pain is a Sign of Restoration", "My Body is Smart and Knows How to Heal", "I know this is a Sign I am Improving", or "The Darkest Hour is Just Before the Dawn" help keep your body in the Healing Phase, enabling it to complete the process. Trusting your body and acquiring knowledge about this process can free you from healing cycles.
2. Connect
Make the connection between your specific symptoms and the conflict theme.
When we experience discomfort, pain or disease we know that our body is trying to tell us something. Symptoms are our body's way of communicating with us and every symptom tells a story. There are great free resources online to help you with this or you can work with a GNM/GHK consultant.
For example, a rash of the eczema kind tells us that we experienced a separation conflict. Either we were wanting to separate from someone or something and couldn't or we are missing the touch of someone who is absent. The purpose of the epidermis layer of the skin is for sensory perception and so when we are active with a separation conflict, it adapts to help us through. While we were active with the conflict we had cell loss in the area experiencing the conflict. We might experience numbing and some short term memory loss and this is the "bio-logical" purpose, this reduced sensation helps us cope with this unwanted touch or minimises the missing of touch.
When we have a resolution to this conflict, and we are no longer experiencing the separation conflict, the cell loss is replenished and this is when we get the rash. The rash is our body healing, it indicates we are on the mend and it will completely heal providing that the initial conflict is not reactivated.
Think about when you first experienced the symptoms, what was going on in your life at this time?
3. Recall
Remember the incident that caught you off guard, was isolating and is in relation to your conflict theme.
So now that we have the first clue as to why our body is adapting in this way, we can consider what was happening along the conflict theme. A conflict shock (DHS) is subjective and subconscious.
“Every disease originates from a shock or trauma that catches us completely by surprise.” Dr. Ryke Geerd Hamer
In the case of the separation, go back to what was happening in your life just prior to the rash developing. Who's touch were you missing or who or what did you not want to touch you where the rash appeared? Is this rash a once off or are there tracks and triggers that bring it on? If it's a chronic condition then how has this theme been playing out in your life? Are there any generational themes here to consider? We often adopt similar survival coping mechanisms to our parents.
4. Release
Bring your unconscious patterns into conscious awareness.
Consciousness is everything! Our thoughts and beliefs are all powerful and can either help or hinder our healing process. If we believe that we are sick and helpless, our body will respond accordingly. If we see ourselves as not strong enough to perform for a situation our muscles will adapt to give us reinforcements. Without TRUSTING that our muscle pain means that we are healing and strengthening we can find ourselves in healing loops. When we think that something is wrong, our bodies need to continue to adapt to strengthen the area we perceived as not good enough. With the knowledge of The 5 Biological Laws we can adopt a more positive and empowered mindset.
The placebo effect is always in play. Our beliefs and perceptions send messages to our bodies. If we believe in the healing process and trust that it will be successful, our bodies will respond accordingly. Equally as powerful is nocebo, if you believe that something is harmful then your body will step in and adapt to protect you. Fear creates dis-ease and the social engineers are well aware of how to manipulate society to keep us sick and dependent. You can step up and opt out of this fear paradigm by first studying the biological laws and then being mindful of your thoughts and and working to cultivate a more empowered view.
5. Reframe
Consciously update your self-concept
When we take the time to listen, and to understand what the body is trying to tell us, we can begin our journey of self-healing. We can start by recognizing that all healing is self-healing. This means that no one else can heal us, but ourselves.
Back to the example of the rash and the separation conflict. If it's unwanted separation then explore how you can set stronger boundaries for yourself and if you are missing someone's touch then how can you help yourself feel held and connected? Find all the ways you are still in fact connected and work on creating a conscious bridge, connecting your symptoms with your thought patterns.
These survival programs need to be rewired in the brain and this takes patience and practice. If your symptoms arise again, go back to Step 1, re-establish TRUST and continue again through the steps.
Labels are only helpful for gaining an understanding of your health issues, from there on they are limiting. When you identify strongly with a diagnosis or condition, you become dependent on it and feel powerless to change it. Instead, view your symptoms as signals that point you in the direction of where your thinking needs work. By focusing on the underlying beliefs and patterns that contribute to your health issues, you can take a more proactive and empowered approach to healing.
6. Reclaim
Reclaim your health and break generational patterns
Unlock the power within you to transform your health and break free from the cycle of generational patterns. Embarking on a self-healing path is truly an adventure of self-discovery and empowerment. Recognise that the key to your well-being lies in your own hands—there are no magic fixes, only the strength of your commitment and the wisdom you gain along the way. This realisation brings hope in a world where most of us are trapped in a system that instills a sense of helplessness regarding their health.
By standing in your power and deeply understanding your process of healing, you unlock the ability to pinpoint and transcend the restrictive beliefs and habits handed down by your ancestors. This path is not merely about recognizing the battles of those who came before us but about harnessing the tremendous possibility within to carve our own legacies.
The road to self-healing takes with bravery, perseverance, and a willingness to see the world through a fresh lens. By understanding the biological laws that govern our health and recognizing the impact of our fears and beliefs, we can begin to take deliberate steps toward reclaiming our health. The path of self-healing may challenge us, yet as we arm ourselves with knowledge and trust, we unlock the ability to initiate profound transformations, not just in ourselves, but in the world around us. This is how we create a legacy of wellness that extends beyond our lives, touching the hearts and minds of everyone we connect with.
